We’re excited to reveal we have continued our partnership with Nestlé Professional with a brand-new Rolo celebration cake, following last year’s successful cupcake rollout.

The cake hit shelves of multiple major retailers, including 380 Tesco stores and over 300 Morrisons stores, in September and is a never-before-seen celebration chocolate sponge.

Despite the challenges of the last few months, our NPD team has been working hard to ensure our product offering remains firmly at the forefront of the industry as we respond to the growing trend for indulgent treats to help celebrate life’s milestones.

The brand-new Rolo celebration chocolate sponge is designed for birthdays as well as various other celebrations and milestones. The cake is available from £11 nationally across the UK.

Our NPD team worked collaboratively with Nestlé Professional to deconstruct the iconic Rolo and design a delicious cake suitable for any occasion, and perfect for sharing. This rich and indulgent chocolate cake is smothered in chocolate frosting and decorated with milk chocolate microdots. The cake is topped with mini Rolos as well as a caramel drizzle and, when cut, the hidden centre of gooey caramel is revealed.

We aim to delight consumers with delicious products at affordable prices. At any one time, we have in excess of 300 live projects across all of our bakeries with a team of 30 people working in product development.
